Time-series of 5 minute water temperatures averages from Lake E5 near Toolik Field Station, Alaska Summer 2008. [1]
Abstract:
Time-series of temperatures were measured using self-contained temperature loggers on taut-line moorings with a subsurface float 1 m below the air-water. Data are 5 minute averages of 10 second measuremsents.

RBR Ltd. model TR 1050 Water Temperature Logger with an accuracy and resolution of 0.002C and
time constant of 3 s were used. Recording was done at 10-s intervals.
StowAway Tidbit Underwater Data Loggers with accuracy of ±0.2°C (0.4°F) at 70°F and time constant
of 5 minutes were also used, with recording done at 30-s intervals
