Hourly air temperature, humidity, wind speed, soil temperature and soil water data from the control area of the ITEX dry heath study site

These are microclimate data that were logged hourly to a CR1000 datalogger. All sensors, except the soil water sensor, were scanned every 30 seconds and averaged hourly. The soil water sensor was measured just at the top of the hour. Sensors are as follows:
